Located by the banks of Hogganfield Loch in a quiet residential area of Millerston, Glasgow, Hogganfield Loch Care Home offers stunning views of the Loch and the surrounding parkland. The building that Hogganfield Loch Care Home occupies was originally built in 1905 and served as the estate house for a family who owned a large area of the area surrounding Hogganfield.
It has been extensively modernised and extended in the intervening years to create a home which maintains high standards while keeping the original grandeur of the property intact.
Hogganfield Loch Care Home offers single and companion rooms, with the option of en-suite facilities. Rooms are fully decorated and furnished with a nurse call system in every room. Residents can personalise their room with items of their own furniture (which must comply with current fire regulations). The rooms are regularly redecorated to suit individual taste.
There is a choice of comfortable lounge seating areas and a restaurant style dining room. A sunny conservatory leads directly onto the gardens.
We will endeavour to provide 24 hour holistic care to Frail Elderly, Dementia and Enhanced Residential residents in a supportive and comfortable environment. It is our objective to promote independence and help resident reach their maximum potential. We will ensure that their wellbeing, privacy and dignity are maintained at all times. We actively promote resident and relative participation in all aspects of our service.
Each resident at Hogganfield Loch is viewed and treated as an individual. We involve our residents in making decisions that affect them.
An individual care plan is created after consultation with you, your family and friends and will cover social, medial requirements. It will be regularly reviewed and updated with your likes and dislikes.
Activities play an important role in day-to-day life within the home. There are individual personalised activities as well as group activities.
