There are many features at Arran House which can be utilised by residents and their families.

Arran House Dining RoomResidents have the choice of 2 different lounges, 2 dinning areas and a dedicated pampering suite.

Residents can also use private treatments rooms for their health care needs.

Your Room

Arran House BedroomArran House has a wide choice of single rooms available, many with en-suite toilets. We are able to provide companion rooms for people who wish to share with a loved one.

In your room you will find a bed, bedside table, chest of drawers and a wardrobe. You can bring your own items of furniture if you wish and decorate your room to suit.

You will be supplied with bedding, which will be changed weekly or when required.

Arran House BedroomYou will have a call point to alert staff, a radiator where you can adjust the temperature of, and a smoke alarm. You will be able to lock your room, and you will have a lockable drawer in your bedside cabinet.

Admission

Before admission to Arran House an assessment would be undertaken by both the Social Work Department and one of our care staff. This would ensure the suitability of the placement.

Trial visits or periods of respite can be arrange to see if you like the home.

Fees depend on the level of care required and your local council.

We have a dedicated smoking room for the use of residents.

Every room has a lockable drawer. Valuables can also be kept in our safe.

We can manage your personal allowance for you if you wish.

You will be able to lock your room door.

Aims & Objectives

We will endeavour to provide 24 hour holistic care to Frail Elderly, Dementia and Young Chronic Sick residents in a supportive and comfortable environment.

It is our objective to promote independence and help each resident reach their maximum potential. We will ensure that their wellbeing, privacy and dignity are maintained at all times.
