Care In The Community Limited was formed in September 1999 by Alistair Murning when he bought Hogganfield Loch Care Home. Alistair's wife Moira joined the business in 2001 and took up her role as appointee for many of the residents in Hogganfield Loch. In 2004 Moira and Alistair's children Euan and Mhairi joined the business full time after attending university. In December 2004 Care In The Community Ltd purchased Arran House Care Home.
